10 Year Anniversary – Last Weekend in Feb 09!

Just a heads up, we’re planning to celebrate that it’s soon 10 YEARS since we opened Mt Vic Dojo!  We’ve had 700 odd students through the door and I challenge you to name one that we don’t remember well (okay, between us)!

We’ve booked a function room at the Westpac Stadium for a banquet dinner on the Friday night.  It should be wonderful!  Great venue, balcony, hopefully sunshine, lots of pics & videos, good food and some inspiring first hand stories from students and instructors.  Everybody who is remotely involved, has ever been, or is just interested, is very welcome to come along.  The more the merrier!  Indicative price for dinner only is $45 (3 course meal but excludes bar).  I’m working on a reduced price for kids!

On the Saturday and Sunday we will have several special seminar sessions to be taken by Chris and Shihan Takiwa.  It’s a long time since we’ve had an all grades camp and Chris reckons he’s never actually taken ‘his stuff’ at a seminar of this type so, with him tag teaming with Shihan Takiwa, our gracious leader and NZ’s highest ever achiever on the World stage, I’m anticipating a fantastic training weekend!  The indicative price for the training weekend is $145 (includes the dinner, no, there is no ‘dinner exclusive’ price).  There will be casual drinks/BBQ at the dojo Saturday night and any out of towners (or responsible drivers) are welcome to camp at the dojo!
