Okay, decision on fee changes…

Further to our announcement about Zumu we’ve worked out the new fee structure. I’ll be updating all our web pages and info to reflect the changes this weekend but here it is in a nutshell….

All kids attending once/week: first month $95, subsequent months $45/mth

All kids attending twice/week: first month $115, subsequent months $65/mth (amazing value!!!)

Young leaders: members of the junior dojo graded to yellow belt or above may apply to Sensei Chris to join his unique ‘Leadership Program’.  The Young Leaders will recieve instructor coaching based on the same program Chris is currently developing for our senior brown and black belts.  This program entails a certain amount of commitment and necessarily involves teaching.  In recognition of their contribution to the dojo Young Leaders fees will be capped at the base rate of $45/mth.  This concession also recognises that as of 2009 junior students graded to yellow belt and above will be required to train more than once per week if they intend to grade.

Adults: first month $115, subsequent months $65/mth

Student Discount: 10%

Family Discount (2 members of the same family paying together): 10%

Big Family Discount (3 members of the same family paying together): 20%

Huge Family Discount (4 members of the same family paying together): only pay for the first three members, starting with adults.  e.g. 2 adults and 3 children pay for 2 adults and one child.

If anybody considers that their individual circumstances warrant special consideration for subsidised fees they should apply, in writing, to the Executive Committee of Mt Vic Dojo.  Applications may be mailed to PO Box 9908 or simply deliver to one of the dojo instructors.

Note:

  1. These fees are based on members paying via Zumu
  2. When you join Mt Vic Dojo you do so on the basis you will pay continuously whether you are attending classes or not.  Our calculations are based on 12 payments per annum.  If you will be away for an extended period (3 months or more) we can organise to suspend your payments during your absence.  Please contact Chris.
  3. Just want to pay once?  Each February starting 2009 we’re offering a WHOPPING 20% off annual training fees! E.g. instead of paying $65/mth you get a whole year of training for a $624 lump sum payment (excludes joining fee of $50)!  Every other month of the year you still get a fantastic 10% discount and your fee is calculated on a pro rata basis so you can enjoy the February special next time you pay!  E.g. if you decide to move to lump sum payments in November you pay for the three months to January discounted by 10% as a lump sum.  In February you pay for the subsequent 12 months discounted by 20%!  Fantastic!

MOVING TO ZUMU

Zumu are a professional and efficient company who will take great care of all our accounts. They will work with students to ensure the smooth transition to our new payment system. With their help and expertise we are looking forward to increasing our services. 

To change over to this new system is very simple. We will have some paperwork prepared within the next two weeks. Once this paperwork is completed, you will never need to worry about your tuition fees again! Everything will be handled for you by the team at Zumu.
