Countdown to the Shodan Shinsa

This year NZKOK have 16 black belt candidates preparing to grade on October 24 and another 8 in the South Island preparing to grade in March!  That’s massive and a great sign the organisation is doing well!  MVD have five candidates preparing to grade in October, Jamie from the senior dojo and Chetan, Christian, Darsheka and Dom from the junior dojo.  All awesome candidates who have been around the traps a long time!  The grading will be held in Napier and, conveniently, it’s the same weekend as the Napier friendly tournament which we enjoyed emensely last year!  It’s a nice manageable drive and definitely worth the road trip to support our Sempai, experience a Kyokushin black belt grading and perhaps jump into the tourny (predominantly kids and novices).  Mark the calendar!
