Young Leaders

In 2008 Chris started a Leadership Program for older and highly graded juniors.  He’s working on a structure based on the training he’s developing for our adult instructors.  This covers all kinds of teaching and leadership skills, from basics like learning the beginner’s names right through to structuring a great class.

Below are a few of our brown belts.  Some of them have been with us since the dojo opened 10 years ago!  Yes, they were THAT small!  By chance, all of them were in the group that travelled to Tokyo in 2008  so they are way ahead of a lot of the adults!  They will be working towards a black belt grading, if not in 2009 then in 2010.
